Hi! I’m Lynn, a passionate vocal coach and the founder of Gift Singing Studio, where every voice is welcomed, celebrated, and developed with care. With over ten years of teaching experience, I work with singers of all ages to help them sing freely, confidently, and joyfully.

My Background

I’m a certified teacher with the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA), a globally respected methodology based on vocal science, function, and balance. My training in the IVA technique equips me to teach singers how to sing with freedom, flexibility, and vocal health across all styles.

The heart behind Gift Singing Studio is inspired by Psalm 100, which reminds us that singing is both a gift from God and a gift we can offer. I believe that every person has a voice worth hearing. I had been attending her private vocal sessions for a year and a half. Before that, I enjoyed singing but i did not have knowledge about the techniques and lacked confidence. I was shy and afraid of performing in front of others. Teacher Lynn made special arrangements so that I was able to improve not only my singing skills, but also my confidence. Sometimes, I might not feel very well during the session, Teacher Lynn promptly informed my parents and took care of me. Thanks to her help, I landed a spot in my secondary school’s choir CCA. She understands your fear
Her ability to teach is very honorable yes but what astonishes me is how she's able to do it all and help me grow as an individual. Singing isn't everybody's thing because the fear of being "judged" creeps around but lessons with her really made me forget about embarrassment and just went along with it, good or bad. She's an engaging teacher too, she understands your fears and she's able to help you cross that bridge because what you've always wanted is on the other side of fear. Where are you located?

We are based near Upper Changi MRT Station (Downtown/Blue Line). Detailed directions will be provided once your lesson booking is confirmed.

Absolutely! Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned performer, lessons are tailored to your level so you always feel supported and challenged.

At Gift Singing Studio, we teach using the Institute for Vocal Advancement (IVA) method, which originated from the work of renowned vocal coach Seth Riggs. This approach focuses on developing a healthy, balanced voice across your entire range from low to high without strain or breaks. It is a proven technique used by singers of all levels, from beginners to professionals, to sing with freedom, strength, and confidence.

Of course. Many of our students are adults who take lessons to rediscover their voice, improve technique, or simply sing for joy. It is never too late to start.

Yes. We offer one-off sessions for auditions, performances, or special events.

We kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged as a regular lesson.

Come with an open heart and mind.
 Bring a water bottle and a recording device as recordings help you practice at home.
 Prepare two songs: one you’re comfortable with and one that challenges you.
